Parents of children with special needs, need special friends. This support group is designed to provide parents with a safe and friendly environment to discuss things happening in their lives and give support to others without judgment. ?First Fridays,? kicks off its fourth season at the Cedarburg Cultural Center on Friday October 6th with 4 on the Floor, along with B.J. Fisher as the showcase opener. The Center and sponsors look forward to bringing the feel of a summer music festival inside during the colder months of the year. The monthly series showcases top local favorites thanks to support from Participating Sponsors: Fromm Family Foods, Love 4 Lexi, Olsen?s Piggly Wiggly and Visual Image Photography and Contributing Sponsors: Executive Search partners (ESP) and Spectrum Investments. ?First Fridays? is presented on the first Friday of the month, October 2017 through May 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. inside the Cedarburg Cultural Center located at W62 N546 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg. Now in its fourth season, First Fridays has become a gathering place for the community while providing a space to showcase upbeat music from emerging artists. In the 2017-2018 season, guests will be greeted to a singer songwriter performance at 6:00pm followed by the featured band at 7:00pm. First Fridays provides a kid?s craft hour 6:00?7:00pm. Other activities include a local handmade art show and monthly art exhibit. Rainbows is a program for children and adolescents (K-12) who are dealing with major family changes such as divorce or death. The 12-week program seeks to provide a "rainbow" after the storm in a child's life. Its goals are to help participants understand and express their feelings, to build a stronger sense of self-esteem, and to direct their energy toward a healthy acceptance of the changes that have taken place. A concurrent parent group is also offered. Facilitated by Haley Pfeuffer, Rainbows Coordinator.

Feb 17   Cool Notes Music Talent Competition
Harboring a musical talent? The Cool Notes Musical Talent Competition sponsored by Festivals of Cedarburg and the Cedarburg Cultural Center is the place you want to be on Saturday from 1:30 - 5:00pm.  This Winter Festival competition is intended to recognize talent in Cedarburg and surrounding communities.

Vocalists and instrumentalists will be showcased during the competition at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners plus a chance for the 1st place winner to play on the main stage at the Cedarburg Wine & Harvest Festival held in September.

?First Fridays,? kicks off its fourth season at the Cedarburg Cultural Center on Friday October 6th with 4 on the Floor, along with B.J. Fisher as the showcase opener. The Center and sponsors look forward to bringing the feel of a summer music festival inside during the colder months of the year. Now in its fourth season, First Fridays has become a gathering place for the community while providing a space to showcase upbeat music from emerging artists. In the 2017-2018 season, guests will be greeted to a singer songwriter performance at 6:00pm followed by the featured band at 7:00pm. First Fridays provides a kid?s craft hour 6:00?7:00pm. Other activities include a local handmade art show and monthly art exhibit. Rainbows is a program for children and adolescents (K-12) who are dealing with major family changes such as divorce or death. The 12-week program seeks to provide a "rainbow" after the storm in a child's life. Its goals are to help participants understand and express their feelings, to build a stronger sense of self-esteem, and to direct their energy toward a healthy acceptance of the changes that have taken place. A concurrent parent group is also offered. Facilitated by Haley Pfeuffer, Rainbows Coordinator.
